2  Use of your personal data

Your privacy is very important to us and we are committed to processing your personal data in accordance with applicable laws.
This privacy statement explains how we use the personal data we collect when you
a) visit the public pages of our websites
b) contact us by telephone, email, web form or e-shop.

a) Visiting the public pages of our websites
When you access the public pages of our websites, i.e. content that can be viewed without you being logged in to our site, we will only collect and process non-sensitive information about you. However, we will process your personal data to the extent necessary to provide you with the public content you request, for example to format it for your browser. However, we also process your personal data because we have a legitimate interest in protecting our websites and measuring the reach of different types of content. To do this, we use:
IP addresses. An IP address is a number assigned to your computer - similar to a telephone number, through which communication is possible. Pregnolia collects IP addresses for security purposes and to provide aggregate information for site usage analysis and performance testing. The IP address of your device is stored pseudonymously by the web server and cannot be traced back to you.
Cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your system by our web server. Our cookies are generally only used for the duration of your visit in order to measure visitor frequency. We also use cookies to improve the user experience, for example to save your language preferences.   You can check your cookie settings via your browser at any time and delete or disable them. However, this means that the settings you have made for a website are lost.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To disable Google Analytics, Google offers a browser plug-in at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en Google Analytics uses cookies.
These enable an analysis of the use of our website by Google. The information collected by the cookie about your use of our website (including your IP address) is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.   Please note that Google Analytics on this website has been supplemented with the code "gat._anonymizeIp();" in order to ensure anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). If anonymisation is active, Google will truncate IP addresses within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, so that no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google complies with the data protection provisions of the Privacy Shield Agreement and is registered with the U.S. Department of Commerce Privacy Shield Program and uses the information collected to evaluate and report on the use of our websites and to provide us with other related services.
